Haul | June 2015

I have done pretty well with my book buying this month as I haven't had any excessive bookshop trips or online shopping sprees. I have only acquired 6 books in June, with only 2 being physical books. I would say that's pretty good for me.

Alive Souls: Inception by Elena Yulkina - I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. From what I can gather, this is a quite complex sounding fantasy novel. I am interested to see how the author has condensed such a complex sounding plot into just 66 pages.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes - I have been wanting to read this book ever since finding out that Sam Claflin is staring in the movie adaptation. So, when I saw it as an audiobook I decided to give it a go. I know very little about it, other than it is an adult novel that is described as being so much more than a love story, so I am interested to see what it is like.

The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants by Ann Brashares - The movie adaptation of this book is one of my all time favourite movies and it's about time I read the book. I decided, as this seems like a good, fun summer read, to get it on audiobook as well.

The Naughtiest Girl In The School by Enid Blyton - I downloaded this one from iBooks in order to reread it as part of the Summer Biannual Bibliothon. However, I never got around to reading it during that week. I do still want to reread this book, as I am interested to see how my opinion of it has changed since I was much younger, and for nostalgic reasons as well.

Getting Into Nursing by Karen Elcock - This isn't the most interesting book purchase for most people but as I am hoping to get onto a nursing course next year I thought this would be a good help in my preparations. It is a very helpful book, which gives advice and information on all aspects of getting onto a nursing course.

Our Story by Collabro - This is the official autobiography of Britain's Got Talent 2014 winners Collabro. I absolutely adore Collabro but somehow missed the fact they had released a book earlier this year. When I met them back in June they mentioned it and so I bought it online as soon as I got home.

Those are all of the books I acquired in the month of June. Have you read any of them?

Sophie :)
